According to Tork's website, the 18x9 wheels have an offset of 40, which is good enough. I'd just keep them as is. You're already pretty low, so you'll need to roll the fenders for sure, but if the offset was 35, you might need to pull the fenders then.

Can someone please clear this up for me? I have searched this site extesively and I've found answers but they contradict each other, and noone has asked about this size with stock suspension.

So the chart says 19x8.5 +35mm will be tucked?

Can someone please just tell me if 19x8.5 +35mm offset and a 225/35/19 tire scrub on a tC with stock suspension or not??

The rims I'm looking at are at a great price, and perfect for my style, but I don't want to waste my money, and time is running out. Please help me

I'm pretty sure you'll be fine. You might rub on tight/fast turns, but that's about it.

Found some cheap wheels with a nice offset I might rock before saving up the big $$ for the wheels I actually want, lol (XD9s)

They are 17x9 and I can get them in 17mm, 28mm and 38mm... I am leaning toward 28, but i'm thinking i'll rub up front for sure.

I got 225 tires. What should I do? 28, or 38? Not looking to mod the fenders any, but I can mod the fender liners.

It doesn't matter what you pick, you'll need to roll the fenders at the very least. I'd go for +28 though.

Even with 38 i'll need to roll them? DOH

I don't want to roll em, lol.. pains me to think of doing such a thing. If I calculate right, the 28 will be 1/2 inch out more than my 42's. Roughly.

So I go out and measure to see how much I got to work with, and in the front if I grind out the lip of the fender liner it will fit nicely I think. Then the rear might need a tiny bit of snipping.

I am low but not super low, I have no finger gaps. Not really tucking, maybe the tops of the tire tread but just barely.

They are only going to cost me $500 for all four, which after I sell my Raze will basically only cost me a few bucks so I am going to go for it.

edit: SHT. I forgot they are 9inches wide, the raze are only 7. DOH. UGGG so difficult. 38mm it is!

Thanks, got to call tomorrow and order them. I'll be putting my currents back up for sale here shortly, lol.

I'll probably toss them on Craigslist for now to see if anyone locally will take them for the same price I will be buying the new ones for.

I figure if i'm going to rock ghetto wheels while I come across an extra 3grand for better wheels and tires, they mind as well be a flush ghetto wheel.

No, but im sure these arent much better, drags.

Ive had them before and they did alright, plus I only put 100miles at most on the car a month (cruising miles, I have a company vehicle) so I think they'll hold up

edit: how much further out would a 17x9 +38 be than a 17x8 +35?

Thanks bro. I thought I was watching this thread, but I just caught your response. Most people say they will fit but some say they won't. Despite how clean the rims are I've decided not to risk it.

Here's the link if anyone else wants to look at them. They are Stern rims so they are cheap, but they look clean as a whistle.

Will the 18x8 Raze r84 wheel with a "5x112 - 5x4.5/114.3" (so the website says) bolt pattern and 45mm offset fit the tC? If it does, will the 225/40/18 tires I already have fit these wheels? I tried understanding the charts and everything, but I guess I still can't figure out what numbers need to match up to know if everything is compatible with each other or not.

Thanks guys.

i have 18x7.5 wheels +35 offset wrapped in 215?35 tires with s-techs

the fender doesnt cover any of the wheel (you can see the whole tire) and i want a more aggressive stance to where the wheel/tires pokes out a little bit but im not sure what size spacers to get was thinking 15 or 20mm....

suggestions are appreciated kthnx

Wrong bolt pattern. You need to find something 5x100. Also, +45 will be tucked. I believe the tire size is correct though.

You won't poke until you're below +10 on a 7.5'' wide wheel. Just get some 15mm spacers and it'll be flush.
