I'm buying a set of XXR 527's and I already have a set of 215/45R17's I want to put them on. I can't decide if I should use buy the +25 or +35 offset. How much farther out will the +25 be than the +35? I don't mind a little poke, but I don't want anything outrageous..

how wide are the xxr 527 wheels? the difference between et25 and et35 is 1 centimeter (10mm).

 

Woops, they are 17x8.25. I ended up going with the 25 offset because I saw some 9inch wheels with a 35 offset that were almost perfectly flush. Did I make a mistake?

 

You should fit if you roll fenders, camber the rear a bit to curb the rubbing. How low are you?

 

I'm on hotchkis lowering springs, however, they were already on the car when I bought it so I don't know exactly how much it's lowered. I think it's approx. 2 inches - but here's a picture if you want to try and eyeball it. The wheels in the picture are just the stock 17x7 on 215/45's.

 

You'll fit. Roll fenders if you don't want to run any camber.
