go with the gloss.

 

They look dusty because the paint wasnt sprayed on evenly. The deeper looking spots are made where paint blotches up due to uneven painting.

 

my friends are like wtf...
im only borrowing these from marcial (flintmicaTC)
painting my XRS stockies green or that same blue.
the other tc's in the pic are my friends bsp- pink stockies, fm-gunmetal

quick question.. if i just want to clear up the curb rash on my wheels.. can i just sand it down and thats it? or is there more to it..

 

If its minor curb rash then yes. If its like HOLY ____ CURB Rash i would use a bit of bondo, then sand it down then put primer over it then paint the wheel.

 

would that get messed up if a new tire were to be mounted onto the wheel? the bondo i mean.

 

I suppose it could if you dug the tire machine arm into the rim. If you have a nicer machine it should prevent that from happening. Or you could always take it to your local tire shop and if they eff it up they will have to pay to fix it for you.

If done properly it shouldnt. If you plan on getting new tires. MOunt the new tires first, then fix the rim then paint lol

thanks and yes they change colors in different lighting... sometimes deep purple sometime almost a pink purple..

i wish i would have done this color to my tc wheels when i had it..

yeah I was considering purple after obsolete did his they looked damn good on FM. idk I'm not sure yet. I jus hate the fact that my rims look like crapp right now so much curbage. idk if its even worth fixing
