Default LED tail light help!!!!!!

So I bought a couple of LED bulbs from DDM Tuning which they say replace the 7440 (this LED also replaces 7443) Tail light bulbs. Problem is every time I press the break they pop the break fuse. Regular tail light function still works. Any ideas?

It's possible that the bulbs are in backwards. Polarity matters in the brake lights I believe.

Brake harness is in backward. You gotta flip one or both of your brake harness. Trial and error man

Yeah I tried flipping the bulbs around in every combination I could think of but there's only one way that makes them light up at all without popping fuses and that still pops the brake fuse every time I press the break

Here you go bud...this was solved awhile back.

Long story short: you need 7443 CK bulbs...standard 7443 bulbs won't work for our car unfortunately.

Here's the thread I started awhile back.

The links to bulbs are going to be outdated and not working, but just read the overall message and go out and find the bulbs yourself.

Thanks man! This was driving me crazy, not to mention I was going through a lot of fuses trying different combinations of things
