i just brought a 2 gen scion tc. i wanted to make sure of something. is there only one reverse light. did anyone take notice to this.

oh and whats up to the forum im also new to here....

 

one reverse light on each side? or one reverse light on the rear?

 

the 2011 tC only comes with 1 reverse light, it is located on the driver side, the passenger side is a dummy and does not have a light in it.

It's not a manufacturer defect. When we got them off the carrier a few weeks ago we noticed it too. It is a dummy and Scion has cheapened out. Just like the XB having just one. You only need only back up light apparently...it still passed NYS inspection.

 

^ yes you are only legally required to have 1 back up light
