Im wanting to red-out my tails, but i cant seem to find precut tint for it. Is there any options other than red VHT nightshades? Id rather not have to do the whole thing.

 

I have seen it done with plastidip, but you have to do it perfect or it looks uneven when lit.

 

You could order red tint and just cut it out around the clear part....not sure how that would look though..If I were you, I'd just get a sheet of it and cut it to fit.

 

Take my advice, and DON'T use tint. The way the tailights are shaped, youre never gonna be able to get it installed clean Enough. There's too many curves and youll end up with creases and bubbles.

I used the VHT nightshades on mine and it looks epic. Came out nice and clean, especially if you have a steady hand. Its nearly impossible to mess up.

 

like SkullKrusher said... this is true for the 2014 tails.. there is this little fin type thing which will totally mess up if your trying to do the whole tail lights

 

I've used the red vht lens tint before on a redout style taillight. Works great.
