What kind of question is this?

What do YOU want? Do YOU want to dump more money into your current car? Do YOU want a Si, FR-S, BRZ, or Speed 3? Do you (or your parents) have the money to support these wants?

Sounds like your brother should foot the bill for destroying your engine.

But anyway, yeah, what are you asking?

Do you kids have short arms or something? I bet you kids are trying to look cool by having the seat leaned back. you can't speed shift like that.
That is why he went diagonally to Second as opposed to strait down to fourth.

well yeah...if you're at the top of 3rd gear in the RPM range and you downshift into 2nd and drop the clutch, the speed of the car will force the car to rev way past redline and break the motor.

Although I find it strange that you would mess up 3rd going into 4th since that is straight down. I could understand going from 4th into 5th and accidently going straight up into 3rd. Or even 5th to second if he was too exuberant and pulled the shfiter too far left when trying to find fourth and landing in 2nd. but oh well.

I suggest you don't let your bro ever drive again.

Nope, only way a blown engine would be covered is if the car was stolen and the thief wrecked up the engine while joy riding.

Lol yeah we have all released that clutch a little too early one time or another.
Having bits of your engine laying on the roadway is something I don't wish on anyone.
