Can you please post some pictures?
Also, maybe a review of this intake, I'm kind of stuck in between the Descendant (because of price and the fact that I will probably get a Descendant catback) and the AEM (because AEM generally won't throw codes and is a pretty good overall product but pricier.)

I decided to have the CAI professionally installed, which is scheduled for next Wednesday, March 8th. As soon as I pick it up and go for a drive that afternoon, I'll post some photos and happily answer your question.

Cool thanks a lot. See if its worth approx. $80 more than the Descendant.
Those are the 2 I'm considering.

Get the Typhoon, and I will buy your TRD. For real. TRD is what I wanted, I am just too cheap to buy it new...

I just received mine on Tuesday from Meng Motorsports. Good prices and excellent customer service. I was going to order it from World but there is a 25-30 dollar difference for shipping to my area between polished and wrinkle black. According to shipping quote the increase was due to weight difference by so many pounds. All I could see was that the black one was $20 more than the polished. How is wrinkle black coating around 3 pounds or more heavier? That was why I went with Meng. $5 shipping on pretty much everything. Not hating on World but that shipping policy doesn't make sense.

Wonder if Motorsports even knows about the shipping error? Anywho... Did you get the polish one from Meng? They still have it in stock? I should PM them if there's any discount available.

yes because I intend to have mine powder coated anyway. Its $205 shipped from Meng Motorsports. I think that's cheap enough already.

Thanks for the pictures. I think I'm going to buy the AEM, that is when I get the money. Hahaha.
It looks legit in the grey. How about a small review of the intake?

Received mine last night and Installed, not happy it comes with K&N filter. I just don't like oiled filters.

Can one of guys please give me the part# just for AEM or Takeda dry air filter? I'm gonna change mine.

Here's a night pic after install...

Hey guys, I've just finished installing the Injen CAI in my 2012 Scion tC RS 7.0 and have noticed a small whistling sound at certain speeds. I've verified all of the different screws and joints and everything seems tight. What do you think may be causing this problem? Do you think it could be the filter at the end of the CAI that is making this noise?

Thanks
