exhaust, header and intake
so i recently got my car not too long ago and i wanted to add an exhaust system, a cold air intake and the dezod v2 header and i was just wondering... with these mods would i be able to feel the difference in power from the stock?
also this is a bummer but i have an auto, since there wasnt a manual available when i got it :'(, so how much of an impact would it be..?? thanks for all you guys' input.

lol, a good turbo kit will make a world of difference as you're increasing the engines output 50-100% depending boost. Honestly though, you're 19. If this car is your only means of transportation, and you don't make much money yet, just wait. Save up your money, and one day buy a faster car. Trust me, I did EVERYTHING to my 2005 tC with the exception of an audio system. and knowing now what I didn't then is it is a lot of fun, a good amount of hardship too, but a lot of money, and if I had just been patient and saved all that money, my FRS would already be paid for and turbocharged and everything.
An auto tC is a poor place to start learning about performance, if you want to get some good bang for your buck upgrades, just do some lowering springs and shocks when they wear out, and put on whatever aftermarket exhaust system you think looks or sounds best because that is all it does.

Lol that's a good reply.. But you know like every other young guy out there we want all the good goods right away no matter what haha.. But yea I might just wait and then buy a faster car. Honestly I bought the car because of the looks not performance but yea I guess I'll just go with buying some wheels to put on it.

If anything just stance your tC with some simple coils and wheels with a nice exhaust. Then everything else just comes with time and creativity such as simple mods that you can do on a rainy day like painting calipers, different fog colors, plastidipping stock wheels. It's something that'll keep you busy and makes your car more personal
Yea that's what I've been doing recently but I see all these other great cars with all these awesome mods and I want them. I wasn't planning on doing performance until I came to this site ha. Anyway on another note anyone know how much a chrome vinyl wrap would cost me?
First you want to know about performance gains with bolt-ons, then the possibility of turbocharging your car, handling suspension, and now you're looking at chrome-wrapping your car?
Before I had purchased my xB, I used to have an older Acura. One night when dropping my girlfriend back at her house, I was driving down a dark road with construction. There were no lights illuminating the road. As I advanced down the highway, I came across a deer in the middle of the road, so I hovered my foot over the brake pedal wanting to see what the deer would do first. It was so caught up in the moment that it started to go left to get out of the way, but decided to go right instead. In all the decisions of the moment, the deer panicked and ended up freezing in place. I swerved out of the way to avoid it and narrowly avoided the deer as well as a ditch on the side of the road.
The point of my story is that sometimes we just have so many paths to take and when you try to do them all at once, you end up going nowhere at all. I know the deer felt that way.

ppl can say an auto is worse for power..manuals are funner to drive and you can rip on them w the rev, corner pulls and "free shifting" but if you compare an auto vs stick on a drag...both stock or both upgrades the auto will always win..there is a proper way to drive an auto however if done correctly the auto will always win due to faster shifting..on the street, a stick will kick an autos ___ due to down shifts, double clutches and allt he wheel spin tricks you can perform..as for power upgrades, listen top what the others have to say..they seemed to cover it all
