Full Bolt-on tC2s
I had an Injen cold air intake on my 05 Corolla XRS for 3 years and a half and never had any water-related problems. I'd go with the CAI for the tC too. I live in the Montreal, QC area, where it rains quite a lot. Not speaking of the snow in the winter....
BTW crossoverauto seems to have a good price on the CAI once added to the cart:

Hey Vudism, I'm looking to get the exact same intake as you. I'm not to concerned about water soaking either and I live in a wet climate by the mountains in Canada. Are there actual 2nd Gen tC owners complaining of this with Cold Air Intakes? or is it all hearsay?
Anyone actually read someone posting about their problems? I know a lot of you have been on these forums a lot longer than I have and I can't find anything about it affecting our cars.

its been raining with flash floods around here and i drive 50 miles daily and have no problems... the dang filter for the injen CAI is high up IMO... its only a little lower than where the battery sits... CAI filter for my Imprezas was damn near the bottom of the bumper... never had problems with those either.
