I had an Injen cold air intake on my 05 Corolla XRS for 3 years and a half and never had any water-related problems. I'd go with the CAI for the tC too. I live in the Montreal, QC area, where it rains quite a lot. Not speaking of the snow in the winter....

BTW crossoverauto seems to have a good price on the CAI once added to the cart:

No. The only one that I think that does is the Takeda, or something like that.

Anyone actually read someone posting about their problems? I know a lot of you have been on these forums a lot longer than I have and I can't find anything about it affecting our cars.
NO CELS!

its been raining with flash floods around here and i drive 50 miles daily and have no problems... the dang filter for the injen CAI is high up IMO... its only a little lower than where the battery sits... CAI filter for my Imprezas was damn near the bottom of the bumper... never had problems with those either.

Aye! I scoped out the corner fender pretty good. Its definitely up high. Ordering it.

Also gave me some ideas to close up some bottom holes for aerodynamics.
