Then...25 years later some dick on scionlife cant believe that an 15 dollar intake could be made from abs piping. She demanded pictures bc she couldnt believe the authors story. She couldint think that maybe the author didnt want to post pictures bc he did it himself, and took four hours to perfect it and wanted others to do their own homework.

 

So pay the 125.00 for this intake that k and n invested sooo much time in the r and d making, or pay 60 bucks and get a drop in and abs piping. You can always have someone make an mandrel bend intake to the box if that accordian hose scares ya.

 

I never said I didnt believe you, I just wanted to see how you routed it, and exactly how you did. Also, I never said that the K&N was the best intake ever and blah blah blah. But anyways, I'm getting wet over here so stop all your crying you big bad intake engineer.

 

U know they make another brand in riverside county ca. U dont have to buy k and n.

 

Tommy it would be awesome if you could post a picture of your intake instead of ripping on others. Everyone knows the arguments about SRI vs CAI and everyone has their own opinions on it

I think what he's saying is he wanted to get his girl a "respectable" car (2006 g35) and she went and bought a "crap" car (TC2), and the only reason he messes with our "childish" forum is to support her. But she doesn't want pics posted of her "crappy" Scion that she drives for work. That's what I got out of it.

 

Meh that car is beginning to become old news anyway. Anyone still stuck on that car needs to consider moving on to something that isn't creeping up on a decade old.
