strange idle??
not sure if this is normal or not but if sitting in idle for about 15-30 seconds the rpms will jump from 600 or so to about 1000 rpms only one time and then it adjusts itself and 15-30 seconds later it will do it again. no large electrical loads on the engine either.... any thoughts? anyone else notice this?
I noticed my rpms are weird at idle sometimes too. I think the rpms are set a little too low and the idle air control has trouble compensating. Its not a huge issue though but it is annoying lol
I definitely have these too. And I believe it's cold related. When my engine starts, it will idle just below 1k, then pop up to 1500. After it's been running, it will idle at 700, and then pop up to 1k, and slowly slide back down.
I'll have to see if it's still there once it warms up. Right now it's hovering around freezing here. I don't really think much of it. Perhaps someone with more tuning experience can chime in.

Mine does this as well, at first I thought it was related to my CAI/MAF sensor. I cleaned the sensor out really well, made sure all the connections were good, etc, etc... Then was in a stock one on our lot and realized that it did it too... Seems like its functioning as designed.
mine sits like right at 600 then will just start like hopping basically, 600 then jumps up to like 800 then goes back down then hops back up, only for like 2-3 seconds then it wont do it for awhile again... just noticed it yesterday after reading this thread lol
