Idk if there is a thread out there for this or not. I’ve owned my car for 8 years. It’s a 2011 Scion tC2. Since I’ve had it, 3rd gear synchro has given me trouble and the linkage cable has broke
twice but here recently when I turn the car on and it idles, there is a horrible knocking sound but when I push the clutch in the knocking goes away. When I drive the knocking just gets worse.

Does anyone know what the most likely problem is?

Input shaft bearing needs replacement (full transmission rebuild to access). Been covered a few times on here and a known issue on the 11-13's.
