Cool. I'm going with TRD instead of the TWM since the price is much better and it's much easier to install.

I am currently converting my videos right now and uploading them to youtube right now. My camera didn't capture all of the video for some reason. I got a few clips. If you need help pm me or post on this thread. Their is one very difficult part which is the U-clip. You will need a flat blade, or a set of pliers to get it. But for the price, it is worth it trust me.

^ no not really lol, just a big file. I took it down and re-edited it, and thought I had it in hd. But no need for hd. It's not perfect, but this gives you an idea of what it is...

Yes indeed. I am going to make another video soon later tonight or tomorrow. The engagement will still be slow due to the stock clutch and flywheel.

i have a few quesitons....
on page 4 on the last paragraph, where it says lightly tighten down the 8mm bolt... i dont have a torque wrech so i dont know how light is 20in*lbf , just enough for the bolt to go inside all the way and thats it? not much tight?

also right in the same paragraph, it says check for No rotational movement.... no rotational movement of what? of just the bolt?

and do i really need to disconnect the battery for this?

thanks for the help.......

That whole section reads: tighten the screw until the entire quickshifter doesnt wabble around.
No you dont need to disconnect the battery.

I installed mine last night

Just snug the little bolt up to the side of the little shift linkage on the top of the transmission. Its just to prevent it from moving side to side.

The portion that installs on the linkage arms on top of the transmission, this is what it is referring too. The TRD shifter slips over the rod and is secured by a cotter pin, so it can shim on this without first snugging the 8mm bolt mentioned above to the side of the linage arm.

Yup, a lot shorter. Still needs a better clutch and lightweight flywheel then you can really shift faster..

The TRD Quickshifter looks to be like the kit by Axxtion for the tC1. Some one I think did a short throw shifter along with the quickshift kit, search up on the Axxtion STS.

Edit: Found it

stuck at the u clip. how did you guys remove it? I tried with vice grips grabbing the top portion; it wont budge even though i'm shaking the car. i tried jamming a butter knife between it to pry it off, another no go.

edit: i got it, guess i didn't try hard enough haha. i used a locking vice grip to grab the top of the u clip, then i wiggled it left and right as i pulled with both hands.
