Default Aftermarket Headunit - Audio Quality - Bass response

I am curious about replacing my stock Headunit. I am extremely satisfied with the sound and bass response I get with what my tC came with. I listen to all electronic music and I really enjoy the sound it produces.
I want to put a third party Headunit with CarPlay support but I'm concern about losing the quality of sound. My worry is that the Amp won't drive the speakers correctly or enough thus losing all the punch the system has built in.
Plus the stock system as you know has those profiles for Standard, Feel, Live, etc. I'm on Feel and I like this setting.

Can anyone guide me or comment about my concern?

Old post, but swapping to an aftermarket headunit almost always will produce better sound quality. Base model OEM headunits, especially in cars around the price point of the tC, tend to have the bare minimum frequency range and available adjustments.

Also, I envy you, because the stock system in the tC is one of the worst I've ever heard. I had to completely redo the system to be happy lol.
