Wow you guys do nice work. Wish I had the workspace and know how for something as legit as that. My 12s are taking up my whole trunk!

Like the last one he posted, would like to see one with a bit more airspace for a ported enclosure. I have had both sealed and ported in the back of my Scion and prefer the ported. The JL with the JL 500/1 amp tuned properly to me hits lower and I am surprised at how clean and hard it hit with zero distortion.. I don't mind my carped box in the trunk, with it covered can't see it anyway and with it being a 10 really not giving up that much space.

Yeah I wanted to save space in my trunk to still carry my tools and whatever else... I modified the lower cargo space to fit my alpine amp perfectly and wanted just a 10" and found that the rockford p3 punch slim sub was great... After all was said and done that sub hits hard, clean, no distortion...

I seen all these others that others built and it still takes up alot if the trunk... I was like mmeh... It's flush with the edge of the trunk liner and I am still able to lift the trunk mat to get my spare

Ragingbull78,
What's model # of the Apline amp? And how did you modify the lower cargo space to fit it in?
I really like that spot to stick the amp; out of sight and not in the way of anything else. And that custom box looks great!

Does any one know if the JL Audio box gets in the way of lifting up the panel over the spare tire?

Its a 600.1 alpine.. The stackable units... I notched out the lower compartment and rebuilt the corner, just to move it out a bit more.. It fit but I wanted just a little bit more wiggle room
