Default Push Button Start Help?

Hey guys,

I've been trying to find a DIY Push Button guide for our TC2's but I think it's impossible to find. Has anyone installed an aftermarket push button start on their TC2? If so, can you post picture or make a DIY or anything!
I was considering a kit from Advanced Keys but I dont know too much about it. Do I need a security bypass in addition to this kit?

Link to the kit:

Side Note: If their's already a thread for this, feel free to post a link! Because I sure a heck cant find one!

the bad thing about it is that you need to put in the key and turn it to the on position. not sure if that's how the other aftermarket switches are like. there's a vid on youtube. overall i think it's more for looks over convenience.

Yea that's not really what I'm looking for. I'm looking for a smart key and push button start system. If you have to turn the key to the on position, then what's the point of the push start button lol you could just as easily turn the key one more click

that's the official PBS part, to get it working is beyond me but at least you can order the official part and get the matching dash trim for it as well

Does it come with the trim? I didn't see a part number and it didn't say.

Ref#55446A -- $22.11 for the trim

plus the $56 +/-

approx $80 +/- just for switch and trim
.... then you need to look at removing the ignition that's there now or cover it, still need to get the encoded key ( just a guess ) maybe someone will want it bad enough and do it eventually
