Question Speaker/Stereo Issue 2016

Hey, I have a 2016 tC and my drivers door bass/low range speaker is having issues. I have the Pioneer touch screen that is common to the iM and FR-S. Once every month or so, this damn speaker decides to pop and crackle. The speaker works fine, when I turn up the volume it just drowns out the noise. It occurs on AM/FM, and any other audio input. Even when the volume is set to 0, the crackle/pop is still there. There is no change in the noise between the engine being on, and the engine off (with radio still on). Typically, I will start the car the next morning, and it will be back to normal for a few weeks. The previous owner had gotten the wiring harness and stereo replaced by Toyota about a year or two ago, supposedly for the same issue.

Any help would be appreciated! If anyone knows a solution, or knows why this is happening, please let me know. Thanks!

If it's only the 6x9's on the bottom of the door it is likely being caused by an issue with the factory amp under the driver seat. It only powers those 2 speakers. I'd suggest swapping that out and see if the issue persists.

I have the stock amp from my 2014 just chillen that is never going back in the car since I redid the entire audio system, shoot me a PM if you're interested.

Thanks for the advice! I'll look into that. I'll let you know if Im interested in your amp, although it may be difficult as shipping + duties outside of the US is usually a killer (Im in Canada). I really appreciate the response!
