On a purely stock system, about what you'd expect. In its simplest form: Run a power wire to wherever the sub will be placed. Directly tap into or run a LOC off one of the rear channels to splice the audio signal off of (may require a power feed as well). This can be done near the rear speakers or off the line coming from the headunit (google Toyota wiring and a diagram will come up, they're all pretty much the same), then tune the sub. The interior panels comes apart pretty easily as does the headunit. There might be some how-to's around here - I did a full custom install and didn't look.
