Default Turn signal Flasher/Resistor Location? - LED Swap

Hello, I am trying to do a turn signal LED swap for my 2014 tC but I keep getting hyper flashing. I bought a set of bulbs from China on eBay that were marketed to be CAN bus but in reality were not. So I decided to keep the bulbs and do a quick work around but seem to be having trouble locating the flasher/resistor. I was reading up on it and heard you could get to it without removing panels. However whenever I go under my pedals, I cannot locate it so I can replace it with the new LED flasher/resistor when I have the money to purchase one. Where can I purchase one? Which ones are compatible with the '14 tC? Thank you very much for checking out the post and I hope someone can assist me with photos or maybe a video from a tC2/2.5.

I looked under my pedals and found this blue connection:
I am not sure if it is the stock resistor.

I also have a '14 tC, and based on the wiring diagrams I can find, part numbers that I can find, and looking as much as possible at my car, I believe the flasher is part of a larger "turn signal/hazard light assembly" that is located behind the radio somewhere near or on the firewall. The new assembly is the same as the ones in the Tundra, and can not just be swapped out like a regular flasher. Hope this helps, and please prove me wrong--I am so tired of the hyper-flash, but don't want to put resistors at the lights to avoid it.

Suburban, you are correct, that is the flasher relay. Luckily you have the older style one and you can replace it with an electronic flasher. See this thread: https://www.scionlife.com/forums/sci...ignals-200146/
