2011 Scion TC is awesome!
Hey everyone, i just purchased a 2011 Scion tc. Magnetic gray base, only option is the auto tranny. Big difference coming from a Lt1 powered Trans am. Im amazed by the ride and quality of the scion tc. When it first came out i thought it was hideous looking from the magazines... I decided to check it out in person and did my opinion change. This car looks much better in person than in pictures. I dont know if its the fact that its a brand new car or just the way it is, ride is pretty damn good especially for 18s n low profile tires. Gas pedal is very sensitive and this car is pretty peppy. I love the way the steering wheel is and the way it tightens up the faster you go. Transmission (A6) is responsive and i don't really feel the shift much. Rims make this car look hotttt. Moonroof.. cant believe this moonroof is on a $20k car. However there are a few things that bugs me just a little but i hate to complain. 1) blind spot im just going to have to get used to towards the rear sides. 2) only 1 reverse light on the drivers side (im gonna make a second one) 3) Sound system is alright but could be better. Sorry ladies n gents i dont have pictures as of now but ill work on gettin them, hopefully soon.
Does anyone know where i can get some decent wheel locks at a good price?
How about an alarm? i dont need anything fancy, would be nice to hook up the alarm to the key, instead of another key fob.
Thanks

on the alarm side, if you go with a dei alarm and use the dball interface, you can use the factory key fob to control the aftermarket alarm. how i got mine set up, but i still carry my aftermarket fob because its a pager
Thanks for the reply. Do you have more info on the dei alarm? Link maybe. How much do they go for? thanks
you can check trdsparks.com for the stock vip alarm at a discounted price from dealers...
