I was about to ask if you ever actually drive that car after seeing the 93 on the odometer, then I looked closer lol. Looks better and better every time I see this thread, really gonna have to see it in person if you go for that Texas job lol.
Holes go all the way thru that hatch cover piece (not sure exactly what to call it) and the emblem does have pins that go in the holes. They are just to align the emblem though.
Good job on the LED swap, I personally love the JDM orange that we have for stock (cannot tell you how painful it was swapping my EJ1 to an orange interior)...but I can see how cool it would be to swap this out and play with it.
...and did you say they actually painted the lights? It isn't like a tint overlay? That looks pretty damn pro.

Thanks guys. And yes, all the smoked lights are painted. Guy who did them does custom paint, so it was no big deal for him. Tried overlays first and just couldn't get the wrinkles out.
Vinyl and tint can be a pita to work with when you are a noob, especially an impatient noob. I have a whole roll in the trash myself. Still ____ed about that. Car is lookin good bud. How much did the paint job for the lens covers run you?
I didn't have to pull the lights off, but the guy offered me a discount to pull everything off so he didn't have to tie up a whole booth to bake them. And because he didn't have to pull the other car he was working on out of the booth, he was able to get the lights back to me the same day.
Thinking about getting my wheels done by the same guy. Flat black like they are now, just something more permanent.

when you plasti dipped:
Did you remove the index cards after each coat?
After you were done, the plasti dip should be both and the cards and the rim so technically if you pull them out then you will peal the coating off the rim as well???
