^ no need to remove index cards in between coats. it takes a while for it to fully cure and it's perfectly fine to leave index cards there because you have 30 mins in between coats and using 1 can/wheel it should take about 2~3 hrs to do the wheels and I believe the cure time is at least 4+ hours so there are no issues. Plus what gets on the index cards is only overspray so it's not solid enough to cling to the plasti-dip on the wheels. To reassure you more, I took the time to paint on top of the plasti-dip and I had no issues with 'clinging' at all.

^ Paint guy told me, but I really don't remember. He rattled off all sorts of info on clear coats and how to mix them with color to get the right tint, blah, blah, blah. I really didn't care, I just wanted him to color match the Bluebat overlays I purchased but couldn't get installed right. Basically, he said he mixed small amounts of black paint with clear until he got the right color, then did another coat of clear on top to keep it from fading or clouding.

Guess I'm too wordy, but I ran out of space for all the mods, so I just got rid of the whole list.

Great looking LED swap man. I have been slack on the forum lately. Do ya think you wanna try a AC LED swap? The level of difficulty isn't as bad as the guage cluster. I wanna do the write up but I want someone to tell me that it was easy to follow lol. Also I didnt take stock pics of the AC controls before I did them.

Thanks! It really wasnt too hard, just time consuming and I was very glad I bought extra LEDs. I need to pull the gauges out again and swap a couple other lights, but that shouldn't be hard.

HVAC swap is on my very short list of mods. And I know I need 3mm & 5mm LEDs with 440 ohm resistors, but I don't know how many of each. If you have a DIY, it'd make my job much easier.

Also, have you swapped the window control light or traction control button light?

BTW, Bloodborn, if you want, I can take pics for your DIY. And have you thought a gray filter for the clock?

Good catch! It is from RedlineGoods. I'll get the other side installed and get good pics as soon as the rain stops. Might be a few days...

Got the other side installed. The panels match perfectly and really bring the car together. The pictures make the door panels look a little darker than the rest of the leather, but it's just the lighting. One other note, the driver side cover is directly on the plastic where the passenger side is over the old cover. If the the leather doesn't smooth out in a few days, I'll pull it apart and put the passenger side one directly on the plastic piece too. The extra padding is nice, but I prefer the firmer look of the driver side.

Did you get that custom made? I don't see it as an offer.
