Maybe if you work with him (possibly send him yours with the cage to compare to a 1st gen unit) to make yours the test unit, he will give you a break on it ;) Worth a try! Hell, it may even be the same shifter as the 1st gen. The actual shifter rod would work regardless of 5 or 6 speed since it just pivots on a ball and socket.

That would be cool... But it may be hard for me to do that since I have to drive the car to school. I wouldnt mind the shifter to be a little bit shorter either. Do I just go to his website to get ahold of him?

Yep, you can email him directly through there. He is a member of yoursciontc.com and this site as well. He doesnt make it on as often as he used to but he is still around. So in addition to everything else, you are supporting a one man home grown business!
