Hot to turn off this setting in the alarm of the tc 2011...I don't like this because it harms my HID kit its the second kit that I buy because the on and off by arming the alarm blow out the HID boxes

 

Do you have an aftermarket alarm?
OEM just flashes the turn signals.

edit: Oops, I am thinking of the xB, not sure if the tC is the same or not.

 

Blupupher is absolutely correct, factory remote just flashes turn signals, and my aftermarket alarm/unlocker does the same function as factory.

 

My 2013 tC flashes the low beams when the alarm is set off.

I live in Puerto Rico I buy my car with factory alarm...when I arm the alarm turn signals flash ones an headlights low beam turn on for about 15 seconds then it will go off and when I disarm turn light flash to times and head lights turn on for 15 seconds then turn off.....

Any Idea of what happend

 

i'd personally hate that. (i have all HID's and that would annoy neighbors having blinking lights everytime it locks)

 

I just meant when the panic alarm goes off, not when I lock or unlock the car.

 

anyone know if that can be eliminated in some way either directly with struggling with the alarm or removing a fuse or cutting any wires ..

this is a headache for me

 

Isnt the idea of panic mode meaning, someone is breaking in etc?
I'd leave it on so it attracts as much attention as you can.. Its such a small thing to worry about. If someones smashing windows, your hid's blinking a few times doesnt matter anyway.
