Parts, Parts, Parts
Well this is my first day on this forum so I'm going to ask a question that has been on my mind since I bought my 2011 TC. I used to have a 2007 turbo TC nothing real crazy but a fun street car none the less. When I would search the internet for parts for my old car I could find anything I wanted anywhere it seemed everyone had 500 different parts for that car but my newer TC the tc2 body style I cannot find near what I could for the other. No where near the amount of turbo products, brake products, engine mods, just anything at all. Has anyone else noticed this or know of a reason why the market doesn't seem as big for the TC2????
Scion has sold less of the tC and xB almost every year since they came into existence. The 05-10 model was one of the most popular cars on the road when it first came out. A little research into Scion and you'll see that the tC2 just doesn't have the following or the sales to warrant a huge aftermarket. Sucks because the tC2 are so much prettier and make better power from what I've seen.
its actually a combination of both....companies weren't too eager to jump on the tC2 because of bad sales of tC1 aftermarket products. Then with the release of the FRS AND the high demand in aftermarket products that came with in, companies moved on.
stuck in the middle of a rock and a hard place
