Yes, I have the OS Giken Clutch Type Limited Slip Differential.

As far as gas, the tune will be for 93 Octane. Oil changes are a sort of "play it by ear" situation. It really depends how hard I drive. I usually check if the oil needs to be changed every week. Normally, running Redline 5W-40 with a couple of hard sessions and commuting, it will last to 2,000 miles before it starts looking like I should change it. I know people that change less often with more aggressive setups, but I have to be careful.

so if i were to do a less powerfull tune than yours im just looking for around 300whp could i use 91 octane as 93 is hard to find in canada. and with that could i go further on an oil change?

I'm thinking you can make around that on 91. Talk to your tuner about that. On the standard Descendant kit, I made 291 whp on a Mustang Dyno. As far as oil changes go, it really depends how hard you drive. If you're boosting non-stop, the oil is going to break down a lot faster. If you're really worried about it, I would just check the oil weekly or bi-weekly.

Good luck and have fun with it. You won't regret it asking as you keep it under 350whp.

It looks smaller than the last Mishimoto FMIC. What are the dimensions on this one?

Some updates. The car runs fine. Speed Industry ran it and drove it for about 40 miles and no problems as of right now. We were going to break in the engine on the FIC, but we have a base map on the AEM EMS2, so, they installed that and are waiting on some documentation from World Racing to finish the install.

Have some pics of the car finally back together.

Thanks, guys. I'll have a video when they give the car back to me in a week or so. I don't want to jinx it, heh.

I'll be looking for a mild tune with reliability in mind, with at least breaking 400 whp. I can probably get 450 out of it easy, but I don't know if the trans and other drivetrain parts will hold up. I'll have to wait until some more parts are available before pushing beyond 16 Psi~.

I'm losing my patience. There have been so many issues with this build. In the end, I'm getting screwed.

By posting this I'm probably screwing myself out of any help I was once offered, but this has to be said.

First, I'd like to say that World Racing has really helped me out with my build and Kareem has been working his ___ off to get me what I want. Thank you, Kareem. I understand that at the end of the day, you did what you could for me. However...

The Story:
I sent the engine to World Racing, they built the bottom end and assembled the long block. They sent it back to me. Kareem told me that he took some money off of the labor charges and gave me some extras like ARP head studs. I didn't ask for any special treatment, but he delivered.

My shop installed the engine and ran it to find that there was a coolant leak coming from the cylinder head. After some diagnostic work, they pulled the engine out, at World Racing's request, and sent it back. World Racing paid for freight shipping on the way to CA.

After World Racing received the engine, they found that they (WR) put the wrong head gasket in. On the phone, Kareem agreed that it was completely their (WR) fault (he actually said it was 99% their fault, which I don't understand). I was told I would be reimbursed for the second pull and re-installation of the engine.

Later, we receive the engine back from World Racing (the freight charges were also paid on their end, which I appreciate.). I also talked to Kareem about getting an AEM EMS2 from them, as well. Before the installation of the engine, I talk to him about reimbursement. It cost a little over 600 for the 2nd uninstall/crating and about 700 for the re-install. Kareem told me that is a high for the work done (which doesn't matter). I'm in Michigan, the aftermarket import scene here is no where near as huge as California. He said they would only charge 800 for an engine pull and install at their shop, thereafter, I found myself trying to justify the cost to him, which I shouldn't have to do that. I told him my shop has been helping me out. He argued, "How have they been helping you out? I feel like they have been taking advantage of you."

Really? I invite you to come out here and find a shop that will do the same quality work and follow up as they do for less. If I took my car to any other shop in my area, they would have installed the engine with that bad head gasket and let me drive home. That's how it is out here. And, that's why I pay what I pay and I shouldn't have to justify it to you. I told him I'm not trying to screw anyone out of money, and my shop charged me what they charged me long before there was any talk of reimbursement.

After some talk, he said he would wait for an invoice from my shop for the re-install, but that his boss would only allow for a $750 reimbursement, but would try to talk to someone about it.

I had him Next Day Air the EMS2/harness/MAP Sensor kit to the shop. Upon receipt of the items, there is an invoice with a credit showing $750 off of the total with a notation saying that it is a credit for the pull and re-install, before any invoice was sent to him.

Later that week, I call WR up again and ask Kareem if the engine was run on the engine dyno, like I asked and was told it would. It wasn't. In the same conversation I was told that the EMS2 is actually a Honda S2000 box, not one made for the tC2. My shop asked for a wiring diagram, we didn't get it because of confidentiality issues (which I can understand), but Kareem did find out some of the information I needed.

So, now we are having compatibility issues with the EMS2, likely because the box is for an S2000, but I guess don't have enough technical education to make that assumption.

What gets me is that he said they would only charge 800 for the pull and install, but they wouldn't even give me that. I'm told it's justified because of all the discounts that were given. I would've gladly paid full price for everything to be done right the first time. I never asked for any discounts. Now, its like those discounts don't even exist.

I was also told that the base map on the AEM will get the car running fine. It didn't get the car running. My guys got it running after a run around trying to get voltage offsets. At the moment the car is running rich and is throwing codes.

I understand that we are all human, and we make mistakes. However, wouldn't reimbursing me fully for the work that was done a SECOND TIME from your doing be fair and make up for said mistakes? Isn't that what you're supposed to do? And, why sell me a product (AEM EMS2) and tell me after I purchased it that it's for another car? Why after the purchase of the box am I not entitled to a wiring diagram to properly install the ECU? Would you like me and my shop to sign a confidentiality statement? Because, I will and I'm sure they will.

For those of you that think I'm just a whiny b----, that's fine, I may be whiny, but I'm also a decent person, who was wronged.

Kareem, you're doing your job and I understand that. You've gone above and beyond for me and I hope that continues, because I'd like to get past this and resume our professional relationship. But, I guess your company sees me as no threat and screwing me outweighs the hassles of making it right. And, they're right. I'm just one person. All I can do is type up a post on the internet about what happened. I won't affect anything.

Your company spent $40,000 on a transmission for your race car, and they won't pay me $600 for a mistake that they made.
