Rained almost everyday this past week. Not to mention, I don't have money for slicks or cheater slicks. Even if the weather was okay, I feel like it would be a waste of a track day with street tires. Probably wouldn't get out of the hole.

Slicks are easier on the transmission, as well. It won't be jarring the car so hard on launch.

Those as my excuses.

Hey you know what I could do that's not so expensive to
Where I can get atleast 250 horses. Doesn't have to be exact. I just want some more
Power behind the wheel, for daily driving. My income isn't great so i was just kinda wanting like a quote. College student paying 487 a month for my car

Honestly, a jump to 250 at the wheels? That's almost 100 WHP increase you want (stock they dyno in the 150~160's?). I doubt anything short of forced induction will do that. It isn't cheap.

Nice build Zero. You seem to be one of the few on here with a turbo (unless i'm blind). I cant wait for mine to show up and get working on it.

Thanks, Frost and twitchion. It's been a fun build. Had a dyno day at the shop I go to this past Saturday. I think 13 cars were put on their Mustang Dynamometer. The highest rating was a BMW 135i with some work done on it. 384 WHP.

The next highest was a C5 Z06 @ 376WHP.

My car was the last to be put up on the dyno. As the car climbed, the car boosted to 9~10 Psi. It made 367 WHP 334 TQ before one of the straps melted and the car fell off of the rollers. I have video, but have yet to post it. It was traumatizing, heh.

Anyways, if the car had stayed on the dyno for about 3 more seconds it would've probably got the 12 Psi I normally run and beat the BMW by a couple WHP. I think thats what annoyed me the most.

They owe me a run or two on the dyno, so I'm going to have them run a 1/4 mile simulator, since the season is winding down at my track. So, hopefully, I'll have some numbers before Exposed. May not be real track time, but it will give me an idea of what I'll be able to put down with better tires.

Nah, the car is fine. The dyno's rollers are like 4 or 5 inches from the ground. Even if all the straps broke, the car would've been fine.

The guys at the shop wouldn't let anything happen to my car. And if anything did, they'd take care of it.

It just freaked me out.

Heh,

No idea. The car's been at Speed Industry for the past 2 weeks. I won't be getting the car back until Friday after the LSD is in, provided that there isn't anything they have to do with the tune. After Scion Exposed this weekend, the car is going back to the shop for a custom 4" intake for the Garrett.

I'll end up putting the TRD Front Strut Tower Brace in after I get it back on Friday. I'm sure the handling difference is noticeable. There are several people with the brace already 1stOne, 2tCornot2tC, and a couple others have it and have posted some informative reviews.

Ted has the TRD strut bar and did not love it. looks average just like it did on the tC1, and the hold was subpar - he could bend it even after a proper install

plus the Cusco looks nicer imo

I should have the car back today or tomorrow. The diff bearings were on back order so that slowed things down.

There ya go... mummify that bish!

You are just itchin to break a steady 400hp aren't you? That one pull where you hit 13psi just got you, didn't it.

My tuner told me it was @12.6 Psi it broke to 404 WHP. And, at that dyno day I made 367 WHP @ 9~10 Psi before the strap melted.

They fixed the boost spiking problem with the Vacuum Manfold, so, I won't be seeing the boost creep issue anymore. However, the Boost Controller will actually be useful now.
