Default Opinion on new rims for metallic grey tc?

Hi, do you guys know/think if Avant Garde M310 wheels are suitable on a tc?

Hey 12BlacktC2, those look hella nice!

But hmmm, just noticed that... i just saw other wheels too like the Miro 111, XXR530, VMR 710 along with the M310 wheels and they look the same. Do you guys know the differences between these 4 brands? And how do you know if a set of rims will fit on the tc? Thanks. I'm pretty new with stuff. :/

I have Avant Garde M310 Wheels on my MK5 GTI. I love them but they
Are heavy. Its a really nice wheel and Im thinking of getting them for my TC2 when I have some cash to blow.
Talking from experience, don't stretch the tires and make them fit on a wider wheel.
This will cause shaking at high speeds.

Wheels are such a personal preference it really depends on what you like and what you're going for... Personally I wanted a 5-spoke design, in black with a minor concave look and no lip... kontrolledkaos and kidjustin are both rocking very different styles and sizes (sorry guys I'm just using yours as examples since you both have some great pics on here...)

Weight will only matter if youre ultimately going to be working towards the performance factor. Weight does not matter when you're looking at style or design. But I do second KILLER's opinion on stretching. I know alot of guys are stretching smaller width tires on wider rims just so that they can tuck the tires into the fender when they're dropped. I prefer (and again its a personal opinion) is to have a tire that's flush with the rim. I'm riding on 19x9.5's and running a 245/35 tire. They're pretty much perfectly flush.

Personally I can't tell you the difference between those manufacturers. But price will tell you alot about the construction of the rim. Cheaper built rims are cheaper to buy but most likely a lower quality. You'd have to ask the opinion of people who are familiar (own) with the rims...

As for fit; the stock bolt pattern is 5x114.3 (5x4.5), the hub bore is 60.1. Check out the forum for more info https://www.scionlife.com/forums/sho...209838&page=15 we were just talking size/fit there.

Good luck!
