motorized front license plate
I see some hot rods that have motorized front license plates that go up and down when the car starts. Has anyone tried this out for the front yet?

I was thinking of totally removing the front honeycomb grill and putting actuators/or/cylinders/or/poppers at the top of that area with the license plate moving up and down. I know anyone with shaved doorhandles would have an expertise in this area. What do you guys think? bad idea? I know the cons are that it can't get wet so it limits what kind of motorized/hydraulic device i can put.
