My wife destroyed her drivers side mirror, housing and all, backing out the garage. She has a 2005 xa in white. The mirrors are the folding ones. Me Tc mirrors do not fit her car. I can't find any cheap ones on eBay, and since she's not the greatest of drivers I don't want to buy oem ones at $150 a piece. Anyother toyotas use the same mirrors? I saw a '99 Corolla near my house that looks very similar.

I managed to epoxy it on for now but it's not going to last. If she took better care of the car then I would order a oem from Sparks; I have little faith in that though. I was thinking more or a aftermarket type like the m3 style found on eBay. I saw ones for the Tc with power mirror and turn signals for around $40 a pair. I can figure out the wiring for the mirror and even splice into the turn signals off the fenders to make that work as well. The issue is, being that I own both the xa and gen1 Tc, I know the plastic triangular mounting piece is different between the two. I read another thread that says they are interchangeable between the Tc and the limited xa but that not the case with hers. I have a hard time believing that Toyota produce that mirror in such limited quantities for a car they only made for a few years. I'd like to think that they used the mirror design for another model car of theirs at some point.
