hell yeah, they just came in. only thing i was a little disappointed in was the fact that the jdm bumper has a raised portion for the front liscense plate that is made into the bumper, no way to do away with that without lots of cutting, which i'm not going to do.

there really isn't much to the jdm front reinforcement, i'll get pics up soon, but its like a third the size of the US version.

here's the jdm front crash reinforcement and absorber (installed)

 

as you can see, it is about a third the size of the OEM unit, but it feels just as sturdy. hopefully i won't have another crash that would test it.

as for the new fender, the car was involved in a very bad "sleep driving" incident. i wound up hitting a ditch, then a driveway, spun me around to the other side of the road, then the rear end hit the ditch, then a fence, followed by a utility box.

 

Well, the body work has been done for about a week, but when I tried to pick up the car (which hadn't be driveable previously due to a blown linear fuse) it had a grinding noise, paired with binding/popping when I turned left or right. We just got the diagnosis from Toyota and both drive axles are warped, looks like more down time for the xA.

I will try to get pics of the JDM conversion soon.

thanks man, as for totalling out the car, the insurance company has already committed to paying for the damages. even if the dollar amount goes into that amount, they're stuck and have to pay to fix it reguardless.

 

I was talking about the total amount that you payed to do the JDM swap, not that you totaled out your car.
