?? I see us 3 being different than all the rest of the ones that look the same. I think allot of full body kits look alike if not ugly at times. Why I went with this lip

NOTE: I am also over 30 and in a conservative neighborhood. I wanna blend in a bit A full body kit would not do that at all.

I have a custom Kenstyle kit. It flares towards the fenders.

The kit is painted black so it is really hard to tell. It's different at least.

well now I can see it's very different. Why change it?? Why not have them painted blue instead of replacing them ??

well you all will not have to worry about seeing me around, i'm in NC, so i don't think you'll have to worry about people thinking we have the same cars in town. but i agree with the lip being more subtle, and i prefer the clean factory look.

The reason why I didnt have it painted blue is because I had it all one color before. It was just too much blue. I like the 2-tone of black and blue better. Sure it's clean in 1 color but it'll get boring fast.

I like the all blue but for 2 tone I would have had more black higher up, maybe to the headlights or clear deflector. With what you have now, to me it looks like a kit without paint and sticks out. But that might have been teh whole point

Yeah I have blacked out headlights, black rear tail light garnish, black eyelids. Was waiting on a carbon fiber hood. The kit was painted black intentionally so you can see the flow it has towards the fenders. Pictures here dont do justice.

has anyone tried the version B ist front spoiler on a 2005 yet? i saw that a couple of people said that it would not fit, but have they actually tried or do they know that the bumpers are so vastly different that they could not possibly fit?

i asked ken at kinwaymotorsports.com about it:
"We have sold dozens of JDM xA (iST) body kit to USA, so I think it will fit
directly. Regarding the black color. The color code is Black (209), if yours
is 209, then it will fit perfectly."

i was thinking about getting them in black to go with the side skirts because the lip does not come in my colour.

does anyone know the colour code for the black stock 2005 side skirts?

by the way, ken said that the lip lowers the front by 15mm.

DUH! me am so S-M-R-T!!
i should have realized that it should fit when i saw it on the 2004-5 page:
http://myautofashion.com/scionxa.html

i can only get it in black though. getting a red that won't match would look like ___ and i dont want to spend the cash to get it painted.

what do you guys think of a black lip on a BCP xA with the stock black side skirts?

Getting it painted will cost about $150 at the most if they are not ripping you off. I just feel like I am gonna settle for a half finished upgrade if I don't paint it

yeah, it really depends. i abhor differently coloured hoods, but skirts would work well, almost like a two tone, if they match the whole way around. i am not a fan of most rice.

unfortunately, this lip look like gloss while my side skirts are textured (i think).

if you mean the black inserts on the stock side/front/back of the '04/'05 xA, then yes, they are textured

xSTANDxSTRONGx, yeah, that is what i meant. i was thinking of doing a flat finish on the lip, but i don't think that that would match either. will have to look in the day light soon.
i have to paint something else to match the paint on my car soon anyway. if that turns out well, then i can do the lip too.
