yeah, you can't really match that, unless you get it made out of the same stuff.

Infini, I know it is hard waiting so long, I know how bad it is waiting for parts. I'm surprised Ken hasn't emailed you, but the countries internet connectivity is way down due to the large earthquake in the area that severed a ____ ton of fiberoptics cables that ran to the south east asian area. I have, however, just been able to send him the funds for shipping my parts and they will arive by thursday or friday next week. My cost for shipping the two pieces with 2-3 day shipping through DHL was 210.00 which is an excellent price for the time and location these items are coming from. I'm sure you can get cheaper options, but I just chose not to wait.

Earth quake!?!?! I have not heard a thing about it. Strange since I pay attention to that area. I lived in HK for a brief period.

Was it really bad?? I hope not.

Does not mean I will not be in great pain about paying $200 for freaken shipping. I mean I still gotta get it painted.

yes, it was all over CNN at the end of December or early January, reports were saying 3-4 weeks to repair connections, maybe longer.

Here is the link to a report on the quake, apparently in Taiwan, but damage was pretty bad to the fiber optics cables.

Email Ken on your shipping costs, just ask him for the cheapest rate instead of quickest as I had.

Ok, well I thought you meant this week or so. I remember that. I have been checking in with Ken but he never gives me any $$ answer on the shipping. Just that he will do his best to get a decent price.

ok, has he said your parts have arrived at his shop yet? I didn't receive my price until after they had got to his shop, but prior to that i did get the "i'll give you a decent price" answer.

Hmm, should be cheaper than for me since I am 3,500 miles closer to where they will ship it from.

Hmmm not much Auto stuff there really. What I mean is not allot of drivers. You see in Hong Kong you pay twice the price tag for a car. Its a way the Gov. Keeps driving and traffic in check.

IF you want a Lamborghini for 200K you gotta pay 400K for it. Ouch! So when I lived there (briefly) I saw NO car shops.

I know he's not in Japan

yeah, and I really dont' want to have to buy the front crash support and bumper cover, heh. But should worse come to worse, I'll be doing that.

I really don't think that it won't fit though, I researched alot of pictures of the IST prior to buying the lip and from what I saw, the xA sticks out further around the support, not the lower portion where the lip mounts, which would allow the IST lips to fit.
