Default Looking to get an xA... in a week!

Hiya fellas, i'm new to these forums and to scions in general. I did do my homework and find out a lot of interesting info on the scion lineup and im sure there are tons of aftermarket products due to the xA and xB being out in japan prior to coming to the US. I'm looking at getting an xA cause im partial to hatches. I currently own a 2002 Mazda Protege5 and im just looking for something with decent room, thats a hatch, and has good gas mileage, the xA seems to be the best thing around right now. Its cheap, reliable, made by a very good company, and of course... cute.

My girlfriend and I test drove one not long ago and I was basically pondering getting one after the test drive. We drove it because she was looking to get one, and now I want one. My Protege5 was modded slightly and I've already sold all the aftermarket parts and its back to its stock form now, I will be trading it in and hopefully getting an xA within the next week or so.

What kind of things do I need to do to get the best deal on an xA, i know they retail around $13k, base model that is. What do I need to do to make sure I'm offered the best deal on a new xA? The dealership in Tucson has two xA's for sale, one is black cherry, and the other is silver. I do like the silver color plus its the same one we test drove, so I know it drives well, and its a 5 speed, its what I want basically. It was stickered about 13k. Any tips / tricks I can use to make sure I'm offered the best deal? Thanks!

BTW: heres a link to some pictures of my protege5 when it was done up

PURE PRICING my friend

there is NO negotiation on price... not by YOU or the DEALER ...

the price is what it is

go to scion.com

build your xA ..... and that is the EXACT same price the dealer has to charge you for the car ... aside for the documentation fees which seem to vary from dealer to dealer....

Just like ^^he said. Also from what I understand is all the options beside SAB are installed by the dealer. So if the dealer wants to make a sale & you dont want all the options they have on one, they should be willing to take it off just to make the sale. Good luck on your purchase.

It seems the only way to find the best deal on a scion is to find a dealer with a lower documentation fee. In Oklahoma, it's about $100-200.
