Default looks like an oil leak help!

ok guys about a month ago i was doing some work on the front suspension of my xa and i touch the borders (where the gasket is) of the oil pan and i get my fingers full of oil pure liguid is not mud or anything is oil liquid, so i started to worry and i decided to dry the oil pan all around really good and check back in a week or so. Well after two weeks i check the borders of the oil pan and again is wet with puere oil. now has anybody had this problem before? my car has only 30k is this a bad gasket ? i have noticed that the oil level never goes down which means the car is not leaking significantly, but why is the oil pan full of oil on the borders? i checked another car in my house and it is complete dry around the borders of the oil pan. please give me some feed back thanks check your xa for this problem on the oil pan thanks

The oil pan on our engines is only held on by bolts and RTV silicone. It is really an easy fix.

1. Drain the oil
2. Remove all the bolts holding the pan in place.
3. Using a flat headed screwdriver carefully pry the oil pan away from the bottom of the block/upper oil pan.

4. Clean off old RTV silicone.
5. Apply an ample amount of Permatex Ultra Black RTV silicone to the pan and reinstall.
6. Bolt the pan back up and wait a few hours for the silicone to dry and your done.
