Default Lovin' my new xA, and a quick question

Finally went and purchased my new xA last night, after several weeks of waiting for my financing stuff to fall into place. I chose indigo ink blue, which I think is an absolutely gorgeous color, and got to drive it off the lot last night. I'm totally in love with my new car, and just had to share. :D

Quick question: What's up with the weird black vinyl stuff on the small rear windows? Can that be easily removed, or will it make a big mess if I try to peel it off?

Remove that vinyl I say...I removed all of the vinyl on the doors of my Lava xB, and it looks awesome!!! I've also seen an Indogo xA with it's vinyl removed...Check out the link below for pics of that Indigo xA...It's an easy process if done under the sun, and the good news is your car is brand new so there won't be any mess made at all...The vinyl should come right off under the sun's natural heat...Just park it outside on a hot day for a couple hours and start peeling...My xB was three months old when I did mine, and there was no residue left or anything...The vinyl came off really smooth, and there was no waxing needed...It looks factory :D

Theres step by step instructions on how ot do it, and plenty of pics from both xA's and xB's :D

Good luck, and post pics if and when you do it :D

vinyl on the small rear windows...hrmmmmm.....

The only vinyl is the one on the b pillar... The ones that borders the front and rear door windows and on the inner b pillar when the doors are all open. The big pieces on the rear doors are plastic. You can take those off (tbblizzard took them off on his xA), but they aren't vinyl...

BCS took the vinyl off his b pillars on his indigo ink pearl xa, though... but not the ones on the C pillars...

Closer inspection revealed that it was some kind of temporary protective stuff put on by the dealer -- I guess to protect the windows? Don't know. But it peeled up in one perfect sheet. Duh.

Just took the new car out to lunch, and got asked "What IS that?" by 3 people.

If you have tints, like I do, it might mess with the lines of your car...
