Default well, the yellow headlights are no more

i finally found out the hard way that 3000k headlights are illegal. driving home from a friends house sunday night i got pulled over by the good ol volusia county sheriff because of my yellow headlights. $74.50 for unlawful or unsafe equiptment. i came home, peeled off the yellow overlays and replaced my bulbs with the stockers.

SO JUST IN CASE anyone in florida doesnt have white headlights, change em now before you find out the hardway too.

I got hassled by the CHP for my smoked headlights. Got out of it with a warning tho.

Sorry to hear about your misfortune. Gotta pay to play...

I don't understand the reasoning behind making them illegal. They put out a brighter light that shows the road better and they don't seem to be as annoying to me atleast as those bright white ones?!?!?!?!

umm.. They're illegal cause they're misleading. You can't have any spectrum of blue or yellow because cops use blue and road workers use yellow. A bright white is better than yellow anyways.

You can keep the Fogs yellow...

Silverstar headlights and yellow fogs work good enough for me. Nice and bright + street legal.
