Here is Fremont I am seeing a lot more xAs than xBs on the road. Today I saw 3-4 xAs and not a single xB. I keep wanting to honk and wave. I also saw a blue one, which is the first time i've seen one other than my own.

Perhaps its just that the xB looks like an SUV so I don't pay attention to it.

There is nothing more cooler than a xB convoy~

Have you guys noticed the comradery between xA and xB drivers? It's pretty cool when I I honk at xB's, they honk back! :D

With tC's they don't do anything other than stare the other way

I've noticed that lately too... tC owners don't like to associate with us on the road but the xB's are like our brothers/sisters... Although a girl in a tC drove up next to me on the expressway and beeped the other day... that was the first tC to do that, they usually just give the "Do I know you?" look... if they look at all... That's what I was thinking... <sarcasm> she wasn't beeping at me cause of the Scion... she HAD to be honking and my hotness... Plus I was flexing my left arm at the time showing off my rippling muscles... </sarcasm>

Sorry Tamago but the xB has WAY more room than the xA...

actual room behind the seat is what i'm talking about. the book is wrong.

i've measured.. the xA "trunk" is deeper by a few inches than the xB.

Yeah, I think Tamago is right. But overall, the xB can hold more 10 lbs. bags of rice. And apparently, xB owners like that.

Or tall square stuff that don't fit in the xA. Regardless the xB ownes the xA when the rear seats are folded. I think they make a trailer hitch for the xA don't they.

Unfortunately, a trailer hitch on an xA can only tow a Radio Flyer wagon... not much else.

I've driven all 3 Scions and I must say that in my humble opinion, the tC has the most seating space, xB the most storage and xA the most style...

Me? prejudice? Never... not in a million years... I'm as open minded as anybody to the fact that the xA has the most style of the bunch..

I read somewhere that they couldn't mount any hitches onto the xA's or xB's... I don't know... I don't have anything to tow so what do I know... nuthin' that's what.

I read somewhere on this forum of a rear trailer hitch for the xB. I think.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I was right and wrong. Rear hitch available for both xA and xB. See here:

That would work also, but the rear half already has the tails and more storage. I'm picturing an xB towing another xB back half with the seat removed and it's own sound system and other goodies. Or even 2 front halves attatched and made into an all wheel drive with 2 complete drivetrains. I think that would be quick with like 216 stock HP. Sounds like a project for Monster Garage!!!

Default xBs are selling slower than xAs

I was little surprised to see this thread. Every dealer I've seen has plenty of xBs on the lot, but can't keep xAs in stock. That is a pretty clear indication that the xB is not as popular.

That's not necessarily a bad thing. The xB is more avant-garde, from a design perspective. Plus, xB owners tend to be a little more fanatical about their cars, since they are so unique. It is no accident that xBs outnumber xAs at Scion Exposed events, since xB owners are more willing to devote time and money to modify their cars.
