I think the 4e is rather neat. But seriously! Why is EL developing a 4e swap when they could be developing a 1zz/2zz or corolla swap!?

Wriath, is there a large amount of weight difference between the 4EFTE and 1NZ?

I autocross, and weight issues are also something of concern for me. I would imagine the 4E to be heavier due to cast iron block vs aluminum, etc.

Still, I would love to have the engine. I loved the old Starlet Glanza's and seeing as how the Echo/Vitz was the Starlet replacement, I wouldn't mind having a 4E xA.

I'd say both would weight about the same
