Bad Motor Mounts?
Always go OEM for motor mounts unless you are needing a performance increase and can benefit from aftermarket poly mounts. Too many times I've seen aftermarket cause more NVH. One of the few parts that I'll always go OEM on unless I need upgraded solid for some reason.
I have a 2006 Scion xA and when the car is idle or in gear and stopped it vibrates really bad. It's not when the AC Drawing power. Was told it was the motor mounts so I replaced the mount above the passenger side wheel well still no change then the transmission mount and the vibration got even worse so then I took to the dealer and replaced the mount near the fire wall still no change. So I'm thinking that when I changed the trans mount I didn't get it from the dealer I got from auto store. Do I need dealer parts? And is there any way I could have put the mount in wrong? Cause when I took bolt that holds it in out it fell and I noticed there is a weight or bump stop welded on it does it matter which my it faces when installed?

@simplygodsgurl Hi, I had a bad experience in the past taking the car (Scion xB 2004) to a dealership for diagnostic or repairs. Always I was told that I need to do this and that, the price of fixing (non existing problems) will exceed the value of the car. So, now I only buy parts at Toyota dealership recommended by my car mechanic. The rest of labor is done by same old experienced car mechanic. The engine vibration have multiple reasons. By just guessing a diagnostic, this is not a professional approach. It is hard to find a good, honest, and reliable, car mechanic. This is the reason that many people just ending up getting a second-hand newer car. According to the economists in the fall/winter of 2021 the economy will decline, and the prices of the used cars will get cheaper. Just need to pick and chose.....
