just so you know, I ended up with a Ractive muffler from Car Domain. I had the local Meineke shop install for $80. It sound perfect. Not too loud but with the lowered tones that I can hear if the subs aren't too loud. Thanks for the advice, other questions to follow as I get some more $$$.

hotbox05 is right. I have an authentic HKS exhaustc canister. It is JASMA certified (95 db limit in Japan). A friend of mine has a Megan Racing exhaust on his RSX Type S that is the same style as mine, but it sounds much louder. It only sounds like mine when he has his silencer in place.

I think Kaeon has an "eBay exhaust" on his tC. Hit him up for a sound file.

Anyway... if you want the same exhaust, it's the HKS Silent Hi-Power exhaust. I don't think they sell it in the US... It's soooo JDM... kekekekeke
