Default Exedy Stage 1 Clutch Kit

Hey guys.. going to get a new clutch kit soon...Pann auto in Clairmont recommended Exedy...anybody with this installed notice any improvement in shifts??
or maybe even more gains in HP or TQ please let me know really interested!!

You won't gain HP or TQ with the clutch but in theory if the overall parts are lighter than OEM it may rev slightly quicker, kind of like a lightened flywheel. Stage 1 kits are made to be a good OE replacement offering a little better holding ability but not being overly stiff. Competition Clutch and ACT both make nice replacement xB Gen1 Clutches as well.

so i should get ACT instead of EXEDY??

It's going to come down to personal preference, they will all do a fine job but you will fine more of the xB's using the Comps and ACT replacements.

I have the comp clutch stage 1 and i love it. easy to shift and it has been on my xb since july and i could not be happer

i would go to nurspec.com they are in my sig geoff will get you a good price and very fast shipping
