Default injen short ram install on 06 xb problem- VSV

Does anyone know if the VSV on the 2006 xB is different than previous models? I just bought my xB new last week, and installed a injen short ram this afternoon. Everything fits great, except the VSV looks a lot different than the one in the pictures of both the instructions from the box and the DIY thread here. I have no way to attatch it to the provided L-bracket, from what I can tell. Anyone have any help to offer? thanks

Awesome thanks! At least I know this is the same for all '06s. I'll try and use the old screw and see if that works. Anyone heard any news from Injen on a new bracket for the 06 models, or anything like that?

I had to grind the facory screw down(to long), dont rember if I put that in the original post.

As for a new bracket, that would be the optimal thing for Injen to do, but I highly doubt that they have even tested and 06 yet. Glad I could help and happy modding.

Not that it really matters, but I didn't like the re-route of the hoses. So I took the bracket to the bench and bent the end at 90. It sits just like the factory and nothing is kinked.
