hey Devious, I finally got my K&N CAI installed this weekend. It's a great product for the price. Let me know how and when you plan on installing a bypass on this intake. I'd like to see there's anything I can do to lessen the possibility of hydrolock with the K&N. THanks

I believe thats the term used when water gets into your engine. Because the K&N CAI sits by the driver side foglight, there is an increase chance that water can get in.

Uh oh. We get a ton of snow, so water gets EVERYWHERE (As the snow gets everywhere, and eventually melts). I would like to know how to avoid this as well.

you can find bypass valves on ebay they vary in diamiters from 2.25 to 3in for a perfect fit like this one http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...981405678&rd=1
all you need to do is cut the pipe straight across somewhere in the enginebay best place would be right before the support mount so that way its supported by the TB and the rest has the mount to support it if you wanna wait till i do it ill put some pix up but it wont be for a min ive been swamped with stuff but any help i can provide just ask......TREX212426 the only way youd really encounter hydrolocking is if the whole filter became submerged but if what you say is so it be a good idea to get one and very easy to put on
