Default Loss of power from a stop

My '06 Auto BSP xA just recently seems to have lost what little get-up and go it had, it almost caused an accident yesterday when I went to merge with traffic and even after flooring the pedal it was barely accelerating and got to about 30MPH after having it completely floored for a second or two after giving it about 50% pedal with little to no response. This is the third time this has happened within the past month.

WTF? Could it be bad gas? I fill up at the same place all the time. What should I do from here? Go to dealer? Run a mid-octane gas? Dry gas? ...any ideas?

Take it to the dealer and have them look at it, there is no way it should do that.

I tell you what my xB after I added Espelir exhaust and Fujita intake I have to turn off the traction control..now mine is a 5 speed, and I might be crazy but it almost seems like the car doesn't like the little extra torque or spirited driving, but seems to be alot smoother without the traction control on...try that...I could just be retarded, but mine seems to make a difference

I have an 06 Auto and I agree after putting I/H/E turning traction control off seems to make it respond faster. Probably because it wont retard the timing for any reason.
