Ummm. the argument about removing Cats and 3 or 4 inch exhausts and a straight thru muffler on the Evo for one 15hp is dumb. Why make your car uber illegal , super loud and spend a lot more money for only 15hp?

15hp on top of 450 ain't much. Do the world a favor and put your cat back on before the EPA get a hold of you and charges you with a $30,000 fine for removing federally mandated emissions equipment.

sorry to attempt to educate
if you knew all that, why are you asking if it can be done

the O2 eliminators should work
I would measure the voltage of a complete xB's rear O2
and create a circuit to mimic that voltage and action

or, like i said earlier, get a stand-alone ECU

Are you some kind of tree hugger hippie?? yes extra 15hp on any car is totally not uber cool .. if you actually knew anything you would know a straight pipe is cheaper then a cat. Congrats

Um what i meant is changing out the entire exhaust for larger piping and only getting 15hp on an already 450hp car ain't worth it (considering it is breaking the law and making it un smoggable).
And the cat is free cuz it CAME on the car. but new 3 inch or 4 inch piping is not cheap.

And hell no i'm no tree hugger dirt eater. I hate those types of peeps. but a 30 thousand fine scares me. Especially for such a small improvement. especially on a scion. for what 1 or 2 whp?
Nah I'm cool. and I can just about guarantee I know a hell of a lot more than you do. At least about cars. Now take your name calling elsewhere.

um ok cuz that's a fine argument you have there.

One's knowledge is not relative to what they drive. how much money someone determines what kind of car you have. and I personally love my Bimmer and will keep it until I die. Next year after i finish it we'll race and you can call it anything you want after it runs high 13's.
Yeah yeah 13's only big whoop. damned faster than yer Scion. I'm getting pretty sick and tired of people walking around like they've got a chip on their shoulder. Everyone has opinions yeah but damn. nothing like turning the Scion community into a wannabe Honda community.

Oh and just a little shoot back but hey whatever

You should be fined for being such an a$$hole.

No everyone is being helpful just not how you want.
Question. Do you still have the O2 bung even though you don't have the Cat?

For the Sims you need the O2 bung then screw in the Sims then screw in your O2 sensor.

The O2 cheaters will only work for a short period of time, if at all. It's in the logic. The computer is already calculated for certain resistances, a universal part is not going to work.
Every different car is calculated for different resistances in the exhaust. you will need to flash the computer for any change to take effect.

E-manage is still considered a piggy back...these dam toyota ECU's are ridiculously hard to crack.

I got a really good book on Engine management systems...its called "How to Tune and Modify Engine Management Systems". Its part of the "Motorbooks Workshop" line and the author is Jeff Hartman...really informative book if anyone is interested in this stuff.
