OBX throttle body spacers?

whatever you are feeling is in your head, so far only one person did a before and after dyno with a throttle body spacer and he showed a loss in power. so go and get a before and after dyno, post up your data and then tell us what your butt knows.
Look buddy i've been watching these threads for a while and looking at our posts. You make it seem like everyone is retarded for even considering these things. If we needed somebody to be a condescending A -Hole all the time then I guess thats the only thing that you have provided. I never said it was a crazy gain, I simply said that to me, IMO it was worth it for a cheap $60 mod from a reputable company that definetly changed the sound of the intake, and felt like a small gain. Thats all, will it give you 100 horses to the wheels? Of course not. I am not wasting money on a dyno until I have finished my other mods. I drive the car around 100 miles a day, so I know what the car feels like. Now say something constructive and stop jumping down everyones throat and maybe more people would take you seriously. It's not like im describing it as though it was a turbonater!
It's just a simple part that did result in a change from the previous setup. The intake got a lot louder, and it feels a little more peppy just like tons of ppl have said on these boards and clubscion etc etc etc.
He is just saying there is either no gain or very very minimal. I forget what it called but you can put a new mod on your car and may think you are getting gains and it feels peppy but in reality its still the same. Your brain is playing a trick on you.
Either way if people want to go out and buy one, go ahead its your car, your money.
And if you wait until you put more mods on your car then dyno it how are you going to prove what the gains are of the tbs?

yes but the fact of the matter is that I never stated it was a large crazy gain just a feeling of peppiness and i know the difference...PM me on the NRG boards if you want a much more detailed and better explanation...I know what it feels like after a few days of driving...mostly highway, but some city. The intake hiss is much louder, and the intake itself jumped up a few decibels which means air is flowing faster through it. When I had my headers on the sound was very similar...i will not tell anybody that the gains match a header, but I would compare it to the car with only an intake, or only an exhaust as far as the feel. As far as dyno's go, I won't dyno each individual part because I would rather wait until I am done because of time and money constraints, I know what you are talking about with the mind playing tricks i've been in this game for 2 years toying with the car, and plenty of things have been dissapointments, the tbs is just a small part of the bigger picture, but at least we agree that the moral of the story is to each there own, nobody can tell you what to do, I just wanted to provide some positive feedback of my own personal experience so that it might be helpful and not belittling or condescending.
anyways stuff like this is why I stick to the NRG boards and clubscion. It seems like everybody on here just wants to start stuff with eachother instead of helping eachother out, and if you see his posts he talks down to everyone like they are stupid children, and thats what we have to try to curb.
Now hopefully a mod gets rid of all the excess crap so that the people that sought the info in the first place can get some differenc objective views. It can be especially hard for people especially since there are a few different dynos out there and everyone has different setups and views.
