Performance Chip Module
NO NO NO NO!!! Dont do it!! Its just a resistor that confuses your computer and makes it that the car is running hot, in turn, throws more gasoline into the mix and hence a little more power... Even though you are getting power, your getting it in a way that will mess-up your computer and make you waste ALOT of gas. I wouldnt recommend it to anyone
Actually Jsosa, it makes your car think that it is getting colder, denser air than it really is.Your car then resets the timing and adds a little more, very little more fuel .
Your car will actually have a bit more power, until the ecu desides it is being fooled and re-sets everything back the way it was. Does Not harm the car because since the ecu is smart, it won't allow any adjustments out of factory specs. Unless you connect it incorrectly. But when the ecu learns it is being fooled , back to normal. To continue to reep the benefits, you re-set your ecu, every time you start your car. Which would be a real pain in the buttocks.
This has been asked many times, by many people, so you can search it out.
the best was written by Twiddler, I believe it is under "an attempt at 24 hp gain N/A"
Hope this helps you

They are smarter than some game consoles of old. 64 bit processors in ours, 32 in things like the old Atari and the first home computer Intellivision ( think that was the name)
They actually learn, if you re-set them and drive like a 99 yr old lady going to church for awhile, then drive like a nascar driver you'll feel the difference. Because they learn your driving style, if some one else drives it you can tell if they drive a little different than you.
