I have had the pulley on for several weeks now. I don't notice a huge change but it does make a difference. We are having a dyno meet in June so maybe we can get some good numbers then.

munch btw... I gotta ask you, how'd you deal with loosening the belts? as well as getting the old pulley off?

Just wondering if there's an easier way than the mess I went through...

Waaaaaaaaaayyyy too easy. It took me longer waiting for my friend Vito to get me a 21mm socket to take the wheel off then it took me to do the whole install. Loosen the alternator rotate it to loosen the belt, take it off. Crawl under the car, put a ratchet on the crank pulley bolt, put a flathead screwdriver under the belt, pry ever so gently to the left and turn the crank pulley bolt with the ratchet. The belt will come off in your hands. Everything else is self explanitory. It's too easy. The pulley install is a joke if you know what you're doing.

we had a hard time loosening the alternator... we had to loosen the bolt which it rotated on in order to get it to move... but it was really hard to get to.

The screw driver trick would've been nice to do for the other belt though

Well now that I've lived with my pulley for a while now...
here are my final thoughts... as one person has said here already, your engine runs "truer" in a sense. When you step on the pedal the car goes quicker, when you don't the engine winds down quicker... So for me in NY traffic and local driving its great. I guess the downside is similiar to what someone posted about shedding too much weight off the flywheel...
Since you lose some rotational momentum, you MIGHT lose some mileage and some power in certain situations. I thought it was just my imagination but... now that I have driven it more... you definately lose a little power going uphill (especially since I'm used to speeding up and letting the momentum carry me up the hill)

So I think basically overall about the mileage question... you would lose some hwy mileage... but gain some city mileage.

Overall, I'm pretty pleased with the mod... NY is a lot of stop and go driving, so it works out pretty well. And I think the high speed power loss seems to come in for me at around 73-80 mph... which is just fine since it really keeps me from excessively speeding.

I have yet to see how it feels fully loaded with the a/c on... I guess that's the true test whether there's enough power.

My first full tank after the pulley mod btw 32.5 mpg...
my high before is was 33.. but the usual amount was 32. (and much lower in the winter). So i'm guessing its pretty much evened out.

My experience tells me that Munch and Chimmy are right on the money with their comments.
